Loaded Potato Soup
IIn a 4-quart saucepan, add 6 cups of water and the potatoes in this bag. Bring to a boil for 15 minutes. Stir in the remaining contents of this bag and two tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add 3/4 cup sour cream, 1 cup Colby Jack cheese, 3 oz. bacon bits and 1 cup of half and half cream or evaporated milk. Simmer for 10 additional minutes, stirring occasionally. A creamy comfort soup that is oh so good and just plain wonderful! Serve with Giuseppe's Garlic Cheese Biscuits.
